Origination of SHARE. YOUR. STORY. SERIES.

A couple of months ago I felt God placed something on my heart. A need to look around at the people in my life that have gone through something of magnitude. Something attitude changing, real and beyond “themselves”. A story…waiting to be shared.

Once I started thinking, faces, names, tragedies, loss’s, goals set and goals met, illnesses, diagnosis’s, and celebrations began pouring into my mind. I realized the people I share my path with each and every day have amazing stories to tell. And that too often, these stories are left untold due to a societal fear, busyness, and negativity.

And so the SHARE. YOUR. STORY. SERIES. was created.

In this series, I will encourage individuals in my life to share one of their ups or downs. Because stories are a powerful thing. They give us a sense of support. Of comfort , worth, and healing. Oftentimes storytellers are the light for someone else that is living, grieving, or celebrating a similar life situation.

As a reader, I encourage you to read and follow this series with an open heart. And in the process, take a moment to consider what stories you may have to share.

Perhaps today you take a stance and say, “I will be brave with my story, so others may be brave with theirs.” In return, perhaps your readers will respond, “Because of you, I didn’t give up. Because of you, I knew I had to do it. Because of you, I knew I would be OK.”

It is my hope that through this series, I am able to bring about positive energy, encouragement, and communities of support.

Thank you, genuinely, for embracing this series. Today I remind us that life truly is beautiful….when we live and love it together.
