What Will Your Kids Have?

I love old photos. They give us an opportunity to experience a part of time that we were not yet a part of. To get to know loved ones in a stage of their life that was prior to our time on this Earth.
Over the last couple of months, I have been asking around and collecting old photos of family members. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, great grandparents, and great GREAT grandparents.
Making up a collection of memories, life milestones, and everyday moments, this collection of photos is one of my favorite house projects I have ever done.
Every time I got up and down my stairs, I am reminded of the beautiful individuals in my life that I am lucky enough to call family. And THAT reminder my friends, is exactly why investing in wall portraits is so worth it.
[WHAT IF]....none of these photos exhisted? I would have never known what my Grandma's wedding dress looked like. I would have missed out on seeing what my Mom wore in her graduation photo and just how long and straight her hair used to be. I would have only had stories to reference my Great Grandpa's pride and joy of trapping.
Today I boldy ask you.....what portraits will you be able to leave YOUR children and grandchildren? It is my hope it is something far greater than a digital file. Because 40 years from now, I promise you that digital file will be long lost and of no use to them.
I am so thankful and proud to display these portraits in my home. Make an investment. Your children and grandchildren will thank you.
